We did a one day horse ride to Mt. Patandazboshi on 02 June 2019 and a 2 days trekking on 15-16 June 2019 in Ugam-Chatkal national park (Nurekata river to petroglyphs of Kumbel pass).
For both trips Rustam (NEVER GIVE UP) was our guide and Bokhadyr (STRONG AS A BEAR) was also with us on the horse ride.
Both experiences were memorable and highly recommendable.
The horse ride brought us through marvelous landscapes and vegetation. Even with very little riding experience it was easy and enjoyable. Bokhadyr is like born on a horse and showed us tricks on the horse. Great fun!
The trekking was a 2 days (roughly 5-6 hours trek a day) with overnight in tent. Do not forget to bring a bottle of vodka to drink around the fire in the evening! :) Travel Ornament organised all equipment and two donkeys that carried all the stuff. Gorgeous landscapes. View of Great Chimgan, petroglyphs ... all absolutely great. Good physical condition recommended.
Rustam is a great english-speaking guide. Very knowledgeable about history, geology, botany ... great person to learn more about Uzbekistan. Super polite, punctual, professional! Thanks a lot for two great tours.
